New Series Tackles Substance Abuse
Tonight a new show will be airing on television called 'Loudermilk'. This is a series that will speak out about substance abuse involving the element of comedy. Writer-director Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber) and Bobby Mort (The Colbert Report) have teamed up to create this new show.
The stars include Ron Livingston as Sam Loudermilk and Will Sasso as Ben Burns. The show focuses around the journeys of these recovering addicts. After getting clean, his attitude gets him into some interesting situations throughout the series.
“We describe him sort of like a drunk whisperer. He kind of knows what everyone needs to kind of get them on track. Sometimes its nice, sometimes its not.” Mort said.
“I wanted to deal with people who had substance abuse issues and show them in their real life and what goes on and how they take one step forward one step back, so on.” Farrelly added.
Other stars include Laura Mennell, Anja Savcic, Toby Levins, Mark Brandon, and Timothy Webber.
The new series starts tonight October 17th at 10:30 p.m. on the AT&T Audience Network.
