Scott Strode hopes to help other addicts by providing them an outlet for recovery through sports with his nonprofit, Phoenix Rising. Strode started Phoenix Rising after getting clean from many years of abusing cocaine and alcohol.

Read Nick Nisbet’s story of how he found Strode and Phoenix Rising.

Phoenix offers around 50 programs a week, and the program is supported by a caring and knowledgable staff who are all in recovery.  Phoenix accepts anyone who has been sober for at least 48 hours to participate in activities.

Finding this support, coupled with activity has saved many lives just like Nick Nisbet.  This inspirational story names Scott Strode hero, showing us that recovery is possible.
