One mom in Kentucky and her "babysitter boyfriend" were arrested after he let the woman's 3-year-old daughter wander onto the railroad tracks while her mother was at the methadone clinic.

According to, neighbors alerted police when they saw the little girl playing amongst rocks and glass on the tracks.

Both were arrested. Child Protective Services had ordered the mother not to leave her daughter with her boyfriend. The boyfriend was sleeping, never noticing that the toddler had wandered out of the house.

After the boyfriend was arrested and became more alert, he began a frenzied head-butting episode. Louisville police spokesperson said, "He started banging his head on the safety glass…police got that individual out, at which point he began hitting his head on the asphalt."

A neighbor called police when they saw the child in a dangerous situation. He said, "We asked her where she was going and she said she was going to the store to get some candy."
