Music Concert Burst Into A Cauldron of Drugs and Alcohol

On Thursday, an electronic music tour suddenly burst into a cauldron of alcohol, drugs, injury and fatality. The Comcast Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts is an incredibly popular venue for music tours and festivals similar to the one held there this past Thursday.

During the music festival that highlighted electronic and house music, approximately 20 people were injured and at least 2 people died.

According to Mansfield police cheif Arthur M. O’Neill, drugs and alcohol, particularly ecstasy, marijuana, LSD, and PCP were being consumed in inordinate qualities throughout the event.

In fact, nineteen people were taken to the local hospital, Sturdy Memorial Hospital, concerning drug-related ailments. Four of the nineteen were found to be in critical condition.

Apparently, it was a very busy night in the local emergency rooms due to the amount of alcohol and drug-use at the concert.

The two deaths that occurred this year were not the first to occur at the site. Research revealed that a person died several years ago as a result of a heart condition and a man died many years ago attempting to scale a wall at the site.

Meanwhile, 45 individuals were arrested at the concert. When compared to similar venues of the same size, 45 arrests is not extraordinary. The site holds a maximum of 20,000 people. Officials made a point of emphasizing that the number of arrests was not the problem as much as the rampant and pervasive drug and alcohol abuse was.
