A combination of cocaine and bath salts threw a 25-year-old Arizona man into a state of excited delirium, and officials at Coconino County Sheriff’s office said he had “superhuman strength.”
According to azdailysun.com, the uncontrollable man, who was a veteran in the war in Afghanistan, thrashed on the floor of a gas station while police tried to wrangle him.
In 30 minutes, the officers Tasered him 71 times. Despite being handcuffed and Tasered more than two times a minute, it took eight people to put him in the ambulance.
The man was not charged with anything and was released to his family shortly after the incident.
