When I first came across this article, I thought it was merely a propaganda piece, promoting the vegetarian lifestyle, but I dug a little deeper and found out that cheese really does contain opiates. Although I might not argue for cheese's addictive nature, and as much as I love cheese...I have never experienced cravings from not having it. Well, never a craving any different than another food craving, like for lasagna or BBQ shrimp. But, as a recovering heroin addict, I am not surprised that cheese is, in fact, my favorite food. And you have to admit, the cheese in the picture looks pretty tempting!
