On Sunday, August 25, 2012, less than two weeks ago, television actor, Scott Wilson, was arrested and booked on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to reports concerning the arrest of the seventy year old actor, a cast member of the AMC television series, The Walking Dead, the American Movie Classics network that employs the actor has yet to comment on the arrest.

Wilson was stopped on a Georgia highway after someone called 911 to report that someone in a Chrysler PT Cruiser was driving erratically. A Peachtree officer who responded to the 911 call stopped the car, later revealed to be Wilson, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

As stated above, Wilson was driving in a Chrysler PT Cruiser [allegedly belonging to his sister] in the city of Peachtree, the Georgia city where American Movie Classics network shoots The Walking Dead television series.

Ironically, Wilson portrays the character, and series regular, Hershel Greene, a recovering alcoholic, veterinarian and farmer who is a member of a group of survivors following a zombie apocalypse.

Details in the incident report stated that Wilson’s blood alcohol level was 0.143, more than the nationwide blood alcohol legal limit.

Further, Peachtree officers alleged that rather than be administered the field sobriety test, Wilson requested permission to perform yoga poses.

The incident report went on to state that Wilson revealed to the arresting officer, during what the officer referred to as an unusual exchange, that he had been drinking scotch and wine.
