Vivitrol To End Alcohol And Drug Dependency!!

There is a new drug that aids individuals in ending dependence on drugs and alcohol, once and for all.

The name of the drug, available with a medical prescription, is Vivitrol.

Through clinical trials, scientists and medical professionals were able to determine that Vivitrol is effective in successfully battling addiction to alcohol and narcotics, particularly heroin.

Unlike the substance Suboxone, that aids in mitigating the symptoms of withdrawal and facilitates the detoxification process, Vivitrol is an injectable extended released formulation of Naltrexone.

Vivitrol, via Naltrexone, helps individuals quit alcohol and opiates as it blocks opiate receptors in the brain.

After initially approving the Vivitrol solely for alcohol dependency in 2006, the Food and Drug Administration reassessed Vivitrol. In 2010, the Food and Drug Administration approved Vivitrol chemical dependency, specifically opiate dependency.

People who are injected with Vivitrol are unable to get high, as the drug blocks the opiate receptors that result in a high.

What is particularly promising about Vivitrol is that it completely stops all the individual’s cravings for drugs and alcohol.

According to the creators of Vivitrol, the complete ending of cravings was never anticipated. Nevertheless, Vivitrol is effective at completely wiping out the cravings for alcohol and narcotics, which is great news for recovering alcoholics and addicts.

Vivitrol is an incredible advancement in chemical dependency treatment. Vivitrol co-exists well with a treatment regimen to insure that alcohol and drug addiction does not come between you and life, ever again.

Two great facts about the medication are: (1) it is not addictive; and (2) it is not mind or mood altering.
