Another Miami man, believed to be under the influence of bath salts, "growled" at police officers, yelling, "I'm going to eat you!" before he tried to bite them. According to PolicyMic.com, this incident happened just two weeks after the now infamous "zombie-attack," which also occurred in Miami.
North Miami Beach Police saw 21-year-old, homeless Brandon DeLeon verbally arguing with another man at a local Boston Market. When officers arrived on the scene, Brandon yelled, "F#*k you!" while shooting them the bird. Officers arrested him for disorderly conduct.
In the patrol car, he began banging his head against the Plexiglass while threatening to eat them. He attempted to bite an officer taking his blood pressure at the police station. According to police, the man also "growled," opening and closing his jaw slamming his teeth, much "like a wild animal would." He continued to bark, growl, and slam his head against the cell wall. He was put into restraints with a bite mask.
Police also claim Brandon was in possession of rum and "Four Loko," when he was arrested. Later, they discovered he was under the influence of the bath salts called "Cloud 9." Poison control centers across the country have received more than 1,000 calls about bath salts so far this year.
