Casey Pachall Substance Abuse Treatment

It is not as if we have not heard it before……an athlete arrested?!

In this case, he was a standout quarterback at a top Christian university, with a squeaky clean image.

Then, he "temporarily" fell from grace in October 2012 following an arrest.

Upon being stopped by police for suspicion of drunken driving, he was indeed arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Even further, apparently he informed police that he smoked marijuana as well.

According to TCU officials, Pachall did fail a drug test that was administered by the TUC football team.

So, who is this mystery person?

Casey Pachall is his name! Do not fret for him, because all is well as he is back on track!

In fact, he was recently reinstated to Texas Christian University after successfully completing substance abuse treatment.

Also, Pachall was spotted training with the TCU football team and according to the TCU football coach, Gary Patterson, Pachall took part in team meetings on Sunday.

It is still relatively early, but Pachall's story is a testament of what can happen when one promptly treats his addiction, particularly with rehabilitation.

Pachall has gotten help early enough to intercept the his alcoholism and drug addiction before it gets too out of control.

Way to go Casey Pachall! We are proud of you! Go TCU Horned Frogs!!
