A New Jersey prosecutor warns drug users that pure heroin is leading to a spike in drug overdose, and even death. According to MyFoxNY, many of Hunterdon County's overdoses in the last six months were heroin-related, and two resulted in death.

The prosecutor claims lab results found heroin in a man who died of a heroin overdose in January was 90 to 95% pure. He also urges the dangers to users, who never know the purity or toxic substances it could be cut with.
