A Rockford woman who police claim continued to use cocaine while pregnant has been charged with murder. According to WIFR.com, the woman's baby died 7 days after it was born. The 37-year-old woman gave birth to a premature baby, and the autopsy results showed cocaine in the baby's system. The official cause of death was stated as premature birth and maternal use of cocaine. The state's attorney has decided to charge the woman with murder, although police are still looking for the woman.
