A 27-year-old man was issued a citation after he allegedly offered an undercover police officer a puff of marijuana. According to Boston.com, transit police detectives and officers were at the Andrew MBTA station "as a direct result of community complaints of drugs and related issues."
An undercover officer was seated on a bench, when the 27-year-old sat down next to him. He removed what appeared to be a joint from his pocket and began to smoke it. Then, he offered the undercover officer a "toke" of marijuana cigarette. The officer declined the offer, but other officers were notified. Officers approached the man, who was cooperative and handed over two bags of marijuana. The police confiscated the marijuana and issued him a $100 citation.
