Higher Power Are You There?

Los Angeles, CA - It is with a heavy heart that I begin this article to notify our readers of the tragedy that has unfolded in our great nation.

If you are not already aware, let RecoveryNow TV and News be the first to unfortunately inform you that 27 people have been killed in what is described as a massacre.

Holding back tears I am doing my best to put together enough facts to provide newsworthy information.

Of the total number of victims, twenty are children…….kindergartners no less. Innocent little angels who had the best of their lives ahead of them.

I can not imagine the state of mind of twenty year old Adam Lanza, who chillingly murdered 20 developing little human beings, not to mention six adults.

I am deeply saddened. This is something that would certainly cause me to drink alcohol or consume prescription pills to take the edge off.

Lastly, I do realize that Higher Power/ or God had nothing to do with this event, nor do I believe that he neglected his duty in allowing this to happen.

Nevertheless, Higher Power is who I turn to when a tragedy likes this happens. I turn to my Higher Power to request that comfort and support be extended to these families during their time of grief.

God bless and comfort each and every person touched by the Newtown, Connecticut school massacre.

Not certain, but I can only imagine that the first thing I would want is a prescription pill or alcohol if I were a parent of one of those beautiful, innocent children.

With that said, Heavenly Father, God, Higher Power…..protect these parents and families from the temptation of turning to alcohol or drugs during their grief.
