Who knew Drew Barrymore was not always the effervescent, adorable, squeaky clean girl she is today and has often portrayed in films like Never Been Kissed and He’s Just Not That Into You!

Drew Barrymore was once a drug addict and alcoholic.

Well, we have the tabloid headlines to prove that she was the pre-Lindsay Lohan drama queen.

To be matter of fact, not too long ago Drew dominated tabloid headlines with stunts like divorcing her parents, being diagnosed an alcoholic at age 11 and a cocaine addict at age13.

She also attempted suicide and entered rehab two times.

Clearly that is all behind her now. As hinted to above she is an entertainment powerhouse, with a highly successful acting and producing career.

Drew’s production company Flower Films is responsible for producing such blockbusters as the Charlie’s Angel’s franchise and the 50 First Dates film, among others.

Drew recently married and is pregnant with her first child.

Not bad for a girl who was expected to become a washed up child star.
