George Boedecker Arrested DUI

It all began when a witness observed a man passed out at the wheel of his vehicle while the engine was running.

As you can imagine, the witness who made the discovery was quite concerned. What she did next would lead to the article that you are reading.

Naturally, she called the police. The police responded, and learned that the man behind the wheel of the car was none other than George Boedecker.

Up until this point in time, Boedecker was most famous for being one of the three co-founders of the now super successful publicly-traded company Crocs, Inc, as well as a conscientious humanitarian and philanthropist.

With that said, what was Boedecker doing behind the wheel of his Porsche, on August 12, in Boulder, Colorado, while the motor was running?!

According to police officers, Boedecker explained that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was responsible.

Meanwhile, a witness stated that Boedecker was sleeping, or “perhaps passed out from drinking too much”.

Police officers revealed that Boedecker was not only visibly intoxicated, as he was unsteady in his standing and walking, but he smelled of alcohol.

The incident report stated that the reporting officer smelled a strong alcoholic odor on Boedecker’s breath and person. As well, he allegedly slurred his speech.

In fact, police officers stated that Boedecker was verbally abusive and used far too many expletives.

After suspecting that Boedecker was drinking and driving, police arrested Boedecker for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Boedecker was later transported to a Boulder, Colorado jail where he was placed in his own private holding cell.

Officers booked and charged Boedecker with driving under the influence of alcohol before he was released on a five hundred dollar bail.
