Former teen queen and Nickelodeon star, Amanda Bynes has decided to leave Los Angeles and move to New York City, where she will begin her new life as a fashion designer. Or, perhaps, drink as much alcohol as she wants, hop in a taxi, and not have to worry about acquiring another driving under the influence charge.

Following a suspension of her license by a Los Angeles County judge, Bynes made the decision to leave.

Bynes is alleged to have said that “there is no point in staying in Los Angeles if I cannot drive”.

Whatever the reason, it seems like the move is a great idea for the star who has experienced nothing but chaos during the past year.

Shortly after the above mentioned license suspension, TMZ photographed Bynes driving her car. As well, she was photographed smoking what may have been marijuana, from a pipe, while sitting in her car, in a parking lot.

Apparently, when the judge learned of Byne’s driving indiscretion, she issued Bynes a warning, and informed her that her license is suspended.

Bynes is currently facing serious charges, including two hit and runs, as well as a driving under the influence of alcohol charge. Perhaps what is most troubling is the fact that Bynes received all three charges in a matter of five months.

Meanwhile, she quit acting and is alleged to have become virtually a shut-in, or recluse.

Stay tuned for up to the minute coverage.
