Steven Tyler Sobriety

That's right, for all of you out there who did not know, that unique dresser, with the exotic features, and UBIQUITOUS rock and roll, come hither, raspy voice, is an addict. Steven is not just any addict, he is a grateful recovering addict and alcoholic.

Sure, as he has publicly admitted, he definitely has relapsed a couple times. No one is perfect; we love him for his imperfections, not to mention the courage to reveal them!

A little bit more than five years ago,in 2008, and prior to his successful stint on American Idol, the recovering alcoholic and addict relapsed for the last time after an accident in Paraguay. Subsequently, he entered substance abuse treatment and has since remained clean and sober.

Throughout his time remaining sober, Steven has been peeling the proverbial onion back, and shedding what no longer is constructive in his life, including, not only his fiancé, but his time on the talent show American Idol.

Well, that is sobriety for you…..sometimes finding one's true self must be at the expense of unnecessary things.

What have you let go of, that no longer serves you, since becoming clean and sober?

By the way, Steven you are the Best!
