A Third DUI For Amanda Bynes?

Former child star, and self-proclaimed retired actress, Amanda Bynes, is back in the headlines, and certainly not for acting!

On this occasion [and perhaps yet again?] the one-time popular Nickelodeon star is alleged to have not only been drinking and driving, but according to a police report appears to have hit the vehicle of a woman, and then left the scene. If the alleged details pan out, this will be her third DUI in a matter of three months.

The alleged hit and run victim claims that Bynes was driving in her black BMW over the weekend, in Los Angeles, when Bynes rear-ended her vehicle, and as a result caused her bumper to suffer damage.

According to TMZ, despite the fact that the victim requested to exchange insurance information when Bynes exited her vehicle, Bynes allegedly refused the request, and returned to her vehicle before subsequently driving away.

The 26 year old actress, most well-known for starring alongside Jennie Garth in the WB teen sitcom, “What I Like About You”, also starred in a number of teen films.

Although the alleged hit and run victim stated that the actress seemed nervous when she requested that Bynes produce insurance verification, she never claimed the star was intoxicated.

Upon the request, Bynes allegedly stated that the damage to the woman’s vehicle did not seem so bad, and then attempted to maneuver the woman’s bumper back into place before she drove away.

Although, the woman stated that Byne’s BMW was damaged quite a bit.

Since April, Bynes has been involved in a number of incidents with her vehicle(s). On April 6, as a consequence for colliding with a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle, while allegedly intoxicated, she was charged with driving under the influence.

In the meantime, reports by TMZ divulged that the actress was involved in two incidents of hit-and-run, on May 27 and May 5, respectively, not to mention in the span of a single month.

While her Twitter account was still active, Bynes allegedly claimed that she does drink alcohol, and allegedly tweeted to President Obama regarding her request that he terminate the employment of the officer that arrested her for driving under the influence.
