Alcohol May Be a Factor in Pedestrian’s Death
Two men raced across the highway this weekend in Beaverton, Oregon, just before 1 am on Easter Sunday. According to KATU.com, one 20-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle. The man surviving claimed that the two were simply taking a shortcut to their apartment, but new evidence also suggests the two had also been drinking. The driver stopped and cooperated with police, and investigations determined he was not under the influence or speeding at the time of the accident. No citations have been issued.
